Brian is a Partner in the Commodities group at HFW.

He specialises in commercial litigation, with a focus on commodities and shipping disputes and all aspects physical trading. He has over three decades of experience.

He has acted in over 40 reported cases, including victories in the Supreme Court of England and India, and is part of the team whose matters led to HFW being recognised by The Lawyer’s Tracker as the most active firm for commercial litigation in the English Commercial Court, where he ranks second for the highest number of cases.

Brian has been involved with and has managed cross border litigation across jurisdictions including India, Iran, the Middle East, the Far East, North America, and Europe.

He is a regular speaker on the international stage and is a trusted advisor to global companies.
